Pro-Civic Project trains more than 30 members of the Community Association in Macusse - Namacurra

The training aimed at strengthening the members of the Belem Association, based in Furquia, in the Macusse administrative post, was held on May 7, 2024, in Macusse.

The focus of the training was on providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of the project's approaches, training them in human rights issues and promoting the mapping of community-based associations. Such mapping aims to empower these organizations to defend civic space and human rights in the region.

A total of 34 members benefited directly from this activity, of whom 18 were women and 17 men, including one disabled person. This action represents a significant step towards strengthening civil society and promoting fundamental rights in the Macusse - Namacurra community.
