A project was launched today (June 6) in Maputo that aims to help promote greater visibility, participation and engagement of CSOs and citizens in the decision-making process at different levels of governance, making them influential players in promoting inclusive governance that is sensitive to human rights issues and respects the needs of marginalized groups.
This project is funded by the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs through its Embassy in Mozambique and will be implemented by the consortium over a period of 4 years.
This was an important moment for signing the contract that will regulate the consortium made up of IMD, MASC, CESC and CDD.
The opening session was also characterized by speeches from IMD's Executive Director, Hermenegildo Mulhovo, representing the consortium members, and the Finnish Ambassador, Anna-Kaisa Heikkeneen.
